The Interview
"I know I’m running late for the interview. My GPS just completely died on me…"
The Interview is a short, first-person psychological thriller that shatters the fourth wall. You are on your way to a crucial job interview when your car breaks down on an abandoned dirt road. Seeking help in an eerie, isolated house, you will soon realize that this is no ordinary detour. It is an evaluation.
More Than Just a Game
This project is a fully interactive, playable portfolio designed to showcase atmosphere creation, systems engineering, and narrative design. Instead of submitting a standard PDF resume, this experience allows you to test the technical and creative capabilities of the developer firsthand.
Key Features:
- Retro Aesthetics: Authentic PS2-style graphics powered by custom CRT, VHS glitch, and UV-scrolling shaders.
- Dynamic Systems: A comprehensive UI architecture featuring multi-language localization (EN, TR, DE, IT, FR, ES), accessibility filters, and audio bus management.
- Enemy AI & Cinematics: Asynchronous cinematic cutscenes that seamlessly transition into a high-tension chase mechanic.
- Meta-Narrative: A storyline that blurs the line between a classic survival horror experience and a desperate job application.

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. It turned out to be an issue with macOS adding hidden indexing files (like .DS_Store) into the zip archive, which confused the browser player and caused it to lose track of the main
.pckfile on non-Mac systems. I have completely re-exported a clean build and updated the page. It should be running perfectly in the browser now. I would really appreciate it if you could give it another try when you have a chance. Thanks againGlad to be of service. 👍
